Executive Presence For Executive Moms

As Executive moms, there is a constant aspiration to strike a good balance between work and other aspects of life. It’s not easy to strike that balance as one tends to lose attention over one or the other equally essential aspects. To strike this balance and excel in one’s career and life, Executive Moms must enhance their Executive Presence.

What is Executive Presence?

Executive Presence is the powerful impact a leader creates on their ecosystem by rediscovering that greatness within them. Everyone has that innate greatness within them. Some of us know about it, and others have not/or partially discovered that. Those leaders who are constantly nurturing themselves and can identify those aspects of greatness within them create a massive impact on the people around them. Executive Presence has the word Presence in it, which means Being Present, which means being present to your team, your family, your stakeholders, and above all, yourself. When Executive Moms work in a focused manner to enhance their Executive Presence, it leads them to excel across the spectrum and become charismatic leaders for their teams and inspiring moms for their kids.

Eight Elements of a powerful Executive Presence

There are Eight elements of a powerful Executive presence. I have explained each element in my upcoming book “Demystifying Executive Presence” in depth. The book gives insight into how to work on your Executive Presence consciously. One of the most critical components is “Clarity.” From the perspective of Executive Presence, we can classify clarity at three levels.

Level 1: Who are you?
(your strengths, innate talent, values (the principles that guide us), and passion (what you love to do).
Level 2: Where are you going?
(your purpose, your aspirations, your goals )
Level 3: What can stop you?
(your derailers, dysfunctional behaviour,triggers (the way we react to external stimuli, particularly under stress) Clarity at all three levels will lay a solid foundation for a powerful Executive Presence. There are multiple tools and tips that I have shared in my book and with my clients in one-on-one coaching. Here are three tools that will help you work on this component.
